Attitude Changes Things

Don't always rely to our assumption, give area for any improvement and embrace change.
Read this..
One day a lady who lived in town looked out of her window and saw a big truck pull up to her house. Out jumped five rascals and started unloading electric guitars and loudspeakers drums... They took them into the neighboring house.

The woman was furious. Now her night's rest and her ears and her life would be ruined by all the noise that would come from the house.

Her husband came home from work and she began to scream at him, "We've got to move away from here or else we'll go deaf and mad with that stringband next door."

Inspirational Reading

It was nearing midnight, in the olden days, when that was the deadline for reciting the Breviary. The priest pulled off to the shoulder of the highway, sat on the front bumper of his car and by the light of his headlights recited his "Compline."

A truck pulled up and the driver shouted, "having trouble, buddy?"

Favorite Bible Quote

A man was asked to tell his favorite Bible verse. Here is what he quoted: "And it came to pass." This surprised everybody, as it possibly surprises you... because it is not a quoted passage, in fact not even a verse. yet he insisted that "and it came to pass" was the one most meaningful to him.

In every trouble, he explained, he thinks of this Biblical line. The problem, the difficulty, did not come to stay; it

Executives Have Nothing to Do.

As everybody knows, an executive (or any boss) has practically nothing to do -except....

To decide what is to be done; to tell somebody to do it; to listens to reasons why it should not be done, why it should be done by somebody else, or why it should be done in different way, and to prepare arguments in rebuttal...

To follow up to see if the thing has been done; to discover that it has not been done; to listen to excuses from the person who should have done it...

To follow up a second time to see if the things has been done; to discover that it has been done but incorrectly; to point out how it should have been done; to conclude that as long as it has been done, it may as well be left as it is...

Thank God for a Handicap

One of the greatest artists for a large magazine is color blind. He hires a man to mix his paints: his mixer tells  which paint is red, blue, yellow. And this man has the reputation of being a colourist.

People who really excelled in a certain field very often have reached their eminence just because they had overcome the handicaps with which they started out.

Demosthenes stuttered. He filled his mouth with pebbles and walked the seashore shouting at the waves until in spite of his handicap he became Greece's most famous orator.

To England, Nelson is the greatest naval hero. Yet he never conquered the seasickness which assailed him the first time he took to the water and kept recurring all his life whenever he boarded a ship.

Something for Nothing

Policeman in Longham, England, caught two youths after they allegedly stole a car from front of garage. The youngsters had pushed the car a mile and when, when caught, told police they couldn't understand why it wouldn't start.

Yes, the key was in the ignition, and it was turned on. The police soon discovered the cause of the trouble: there was no engine! The garage owner explained that he had taken the old engine out and had not put the new

If I Were A Rich Man

The teacher asked her students to write an essay, explaining what they would do if they each had a million dollars.

Every pupil except Teddy began writing immediately. He just sat in his chair, making faces and twiddling his thumbs.

At the end of the class period, the teacher collected the papers and Teddy turned his blank sheet in with the rest.

"What is the meaning of this, Teddy?" asked the teacher. "Is this  your essay? All the others have written two pages or more, while you have done absolutely nothing!"

Rise Again

Sometimes we pretend, but there are situation that it is needed, look at this story;
A young priest was supposed to preach in the prison. Day after day he tried to find some message or formula that would move hard hearts.

As he entered the room, he shuddered under the gaze and stares of the crime-hardened faces. He said a silent prayer for light as he walked up to the pulpit. He stumbled on the second last step and rolled over heels right down to the floor. The audience broke out into loud laughter.

Cleverness Catching Up

There had been a shortage of beef, and the butcher placed his last roast on the scale.

"That'll be $3.95," he told the waiting customer.

"That one's too small; don't you have anything larger?" the woman asked.

The willy butcher returned the roast to the refrigerator, paused a moment, then took it out again. "This one," he

Hard Times

A man we know had trouble settling an avalanche of bills. By dint of thrift and hard work, he managed not only to pay them off, but he even increased his regular business and wound up with an even greater showing than in the previous year.

One of his creditors, receiving a check in payment of his account through the mail, wrote and admiringly

Medical Work

One day a tourist was weaving through the back streets of Calcutta and looked in at a hallway clinic where a nun was down on her knees dressing the smelly sore of a leper. He could not look on, it turned his stomach. He walked away in disgust saying, "Sister, I would not do that for a million dollars."

Eye Contact

Eye contact helps people in almost any walk of life. Examples: Salvation Army "Santas" claim they almost always get a donation if they make eye contact with pedestrians. Salespeople who use eye contact with customers generate more and larger sales.

Hitchhikers stand a better chance of getting rides if they engage in eye contact with passing motorists.

Mothers

If there is something one cannot do without, it is mother. Father loves her, daughter imitates her, son ignores her, salesman thrive on her, motorists hurry around her, teachers phone her, and the woman next door confides in her.

She can be sweeter than sugar, more sour than a lemon, all smiles, and crying her heart out- all without any given two-minute period.

She likes sewing, detective stories, having her birthday remembered, church, a new dress, the cleaning woman, father's praise, a little lipstick, flower and plants, canasta, dinner out on Sunday, policeman, one whole day in bed, crossword puzzles, sunny days, tea, and the newspaper boy.

She dislikes doing dishes, father's boss, having her birthday forgotten, the motorist behind her, spring cleaning, Junior's report card, rainy days, neighbor's dog stairs, and the man who supposed to cut the grass.
She can be found standing by, bending over, reaching for, kneeling under, and stretching around, but rarely sitting on.

What Do You See?

An economist was asked to talk to a group of business people.
She tacked up a big sheet of white paper. Then she drew a black spot on the paper and asked a man in the front row what he saw.
The man answered promptly, "A black spot."
The speaker asked every person in the room the same question and each replied, "A black spot."
