Do Not Make Ourselves Higher Than Anyone.

Do not treat and make ourselves higher than anyone, we could reach higher status and accomplishment but was not enough and not valid reason to boast and make our self greater than anybody.

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Just Let God Direct our Life.

We live in a way we want it to be, we make it the way we like it happen, but how many times that we thank God for what He had brought us. Sometimes we blame God for bad situations that happen to us, and we fail to understand that he permit and allows those things to happen so that we'll go back to Him and ask for help and caring. We should know and learn His purpose for for every situation, He did not bring strong rain to drown us, He did not brought drought to starve us, He did not let our love one lost to hurt us. But he permits these things to happen so that we will turn and go back to Him.

He wants us to be more firm and stronger so that we're more ready and used when more worst situation come

And Do Not Be Conformed to this World.

The security and assurance we aimed can only be provide by the greatest, no one has it. If we would like to avail that transforming power, do not be conformed to the likes and modes of this world.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your

Present our Bodies a Living Sacrifice.

We always please our self, we always do what we know will give comfort and convenience to our body. But do we notice the outcome of what we have done for our body? We neglect to find out that too much of our activity and what we put inside our body destroys it. The effect of technology is drastic, because we presume that what we eat will transform our bodies strong and sick resistant. The media  has change our mind, our concepts regarding many things around us has evolved into easy and fast. We will only understand and regret later because the life and body we have will not last long after having the effect and outcome of what we have already done.
"I beseech you therefore, brethren by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."

Your Work

The Lord had a job for me,
But I had so much to do
I said, "You got somebody else,
or wait till I get through,"
I don't know how the Lord came out:
No doubt He got along.
But I felt kind of sneaking-like:
I know I'd done God wrong.
One day, I needed the Lord;
needed him right away.
But He never answered me at all:

Team Spirit: Selflessness In Sports

Behind every winning basket there is that important pass, where some unselfish player passed the ball to the point-maker. Without that pass, there would be no score, and no heroes.
While their names are seldom listed, they are important factors in success. Wise is the hero who never forgets them.

Attitude Changes Things

Don't always rely to our assumption, give area for any improvement and embrace change.
Read this..
One day a lady who lived in town looked out of her window and saw a big truck pull up to her house. Out jumped five rascals and started unloading electric guitars and loudspeakers drums... They took them into the neighboring house.

The woman was furious. Now her night's rest and her ears and her life would be ruined by all the noise that would come from the house.

Her husband came home from work and she began to scream at him, "We've got to move away from here or else we'll go deaf and mad with that stringband next door."

Inspirational Reading

It was nearing midnight, in the olden days, when that was the deadline for reciting the Breviary. The priest pulled off to the shoulder of the highway, sat on the front bumper of his car and by the light of his headlights recited his "Compline."

A truck pulled up and the driver shouted, "having trouble, buddy?"

Favorite Bible Quote

A man was asked to tell his favorite Bible verse. Here is what he quoted: "And it came to pass." This surprised everybody, as it possibly surprises you... because it is not a quoted passage, in fact not even a verse. yet he insisted that "and it came to pass" was the one most meaningful to him.

In every trouble, he explained, he thinks of this Biblical line. The problem, the difficulty, did not come to stay; it

Executives Have Nothing to Do.

As everybody knows, an executive (or any boss) has practically nothing to do -except....

To decide what is to be done; to tell somebody to do it; to listens to reasons why it should not be done, why it should be done by somebody else, or why it should be done in different way, and to prepare arguments in rebuttal...

To follow up to see if the thing has been done; to discover that it has not been done; to listen to excuses from the person who should have done it...

To follow up a second time to see if the things has been done; to discover that it has been done but incorrectly; to point out how it should have been done; to conclude that as long as it has been done, it may as well be left as it is...

Thank God for a Handicap

One of the greatest artists for a large magazine is color blind. He hires a man to mix his paints: his mixer tells  which paint is red, blue, yellow. And this man has the reputation of being a colourist.

People who really excelled in a certain field very often have reached their eminence just because they had overcome the handicaps with which they started out.

Demosthenes stuttered. He filled his mouth with pebbles and walked the seashore shouting at the waves until in spite of his handicap he became Greece's most famous orator.

To England, Nelson is the greatest naval hero. Yet he never conquered the seasickness which assailed him the first time he took to the water and kept recurring all his life whenever he boarded a ship.

Something for Nothing

Policeman in Longham, England, caught two youths after they allegedly stole a car from front of garage. The youngsters had pushed the car a mile and when, when caught, told police they couldn't understand why it wouldn't start.

Yes, the key was in the ignition, and it was turned on. The police soon discovered the cause of the trouble: there was no engine! The garage owner explained that he had taken the old engine out and had not put the new

If I Were A Rich Man

The teacher asked her students to write an essay, explaining what they would do if they each had a million dollars.

Every pupil except Teddy began writing immediately. He just sat in his chair, making faces and twiddling his thumbs.

At the end of the class period, the teacher collected the papers and Teddy turned his blank sheet in with the rest.

"What is the meaning of this, Teddy?" asked the teacher. "Is this  your essay? All the others have written two pages or more, while you have done absolutely nothing!"

Rise Again

Sometimes we pretend, but there are situation that it is needed, look at this story;
A young priest was supposed to preach in the prison. Day after day he tried to find some message or formula that would move hard hearts.

As he entered the room, he shuddered under the gaze and stares of the crime-hardened faces. He said a silent prayer for light as he walked up to the pulpit. He stumbled on the second last step and rolled over heels right down to the floor. The audience broke out into loud laughter.

Cleverness Catching Up

There had been a shortage of beef, and the butcher placed his last roast on the scale.

"That'll be $3.95," he told the waiting customer.

"That one's too small; don't you have anything larger?" the woman asked.

The willy butcher returned the roast to the refrigerator, paused a moment, then took it out again. "This one," he

Hard Times

A man we know had trouble settling an avalanche of bills. By dint of thrift and hard work, he managed not only to pay them off, but he even increased his regular business and wound up with an even greater showing than in the previous year.

One of his creditors, receiving a check in payment of his account through the mail, wrote and admiringly

Medical Work

One day a tourist was weaving through the back streets of Calcutta and looked in at a hallway clinic where a nun was down on her knees dressing the smelly sore of a leper. He could not look on, it turned his stomach. He walked away in disgust saying, "Sister, I would not do that for a million dollars."

Eye Contact

Eye contact helps people in almost any walk of life. Examples: Salvation Army "Santas" claim they almost always get a donation if they make eye contact with pedestrians. Salespeople who use eye contact with customers generate more and larger sales.

Hitchhikers stand a better chance of getting rides if they engage in eye contact with passing motorists.

Mothers

If there is something one cannot do without, it is mother. Father loves her, daughter imitates her, son ignores her, salesman thrive on her, motorists hurry around her, teachers phone her, and the woman next door confides in her.

She can be sweeter than sugar, more sour than a lemon, all smiles, and crying her heart out- all without any given two-minute period.

She likes sewing, detective stories, having her birthday remembered, church, a new dress, the cleaning woman, father's praise, a little lipstick, flower and plants, canasta, dinner out on Sunday, policeman, one whole day in bed, crossword puzzles, sunny days, tea, and the newspaper boy.

She dislikes doing dishes, father's boss, having her birthday forgotten, the motorist behind her, spring cleaning, Junior's report card, rainy days, neighbor's dog stairs, and the man who supposed to cut the grass.
She can be found standing by, bending over, reaching for, kneeling under, and stretching around, but rarely sitting on.

What Do You See?

An economist was asked to talk to a group of business people.
She tacked up a big sheet of white paper. Then she drew a black spot on the paper and asked a man in the front row what he saw.
The man answered promptly, "A black spot."
The speaker asked every person in the room the same question and each replied, "A black spot."

Standards

In a little village, a man always stopped by a clock shop window to set his watch every morning.

One day the clock shop owner stepped outside and asked this man, "Why do you stop here every morning and set your watch?"

The man replied, "I work at the big factory down the street, and I am in charge of blowing the noon whistle every day. I stop here every morning to make sure I have the exact time."

Man in the Hole

A man was walking along and fell into such a deep hole that he could not get out. So he began to shout very loudly for help.

A learned professor came along and found him. He looked down into the hole and lectured the unfortunate man: "Why were you so foolish as to fall down there in the first place? You should be more careful. If you ever get out again, watch your step."

And with that he took off.

Then a holy monk came along. He looked down into the hole and told the man, "I'll try to reach down as far as I can, and you reach up as far as you can. If I can grab your hand, I'll pull you out."

Living on Purpose

They said he had died!

One morning in 1888 Alfred Nobel, the inventor of dynamite, who had amassed a fortune manufacturing and selling weapons of destruction, awoke to read his own obituary in the newspaper.

Actually, it was his brother who had died, but a reporter mistakenly wrote Alfred's obituary.

For the first time Alfred Nobel saw himself as the world saw him: "the dynamite king" and nothing more.

Finding Your Real Self

What if you could be anything, or anybody? Who would you chose to be? Would you be strong business leader? A minister? A celebrated athlete?
A reporter asked George Bernard Shaw to play the "What if" game shortly before he died. "Mr Shaw," he asked, "you have visited with some of the most famous people in the world. You have known royalty, world-renowned authors, artists, teachers of the world. If you could live your life over and be anybody you've known,

Making People Pray

A bus driver and a priest died at the same time. Although the driver was sent directly to heaven, the priest's case was apparently harder to decide.

"I don't mind that you sent a bus driver to heaven," the priest was heard complaining. "But after all, I was a priest. So why should I be kept waiting?"

A Positive Attitude

A positive attitude is every bit as important to  success as talent. It's important, too, to remember that optimism - like actions - speaks louder than words. many enormously successful people have bent over backwards to appear prudent- belittling even themselves or their own achievements - without ever slowing down in their pursuit of excellence. Let me give you some examples.

The great inventor said: "The phonograph is not of any commercial value," and "the radio craze will die out in time." The speaker was Thomas Edison.

Forgive Me When I Whine

Today, upon a bus, A saw a lovely girl with golden hair.
I envied her. She seemed so gay, and wished I were as fair.
When suddenly she rose to leave,
I saw her hobble down the aisle.
She had one leg, and wore a crutch.
But as she passed - a smile.
O God, forgive me when I whine.
I have two legs. The world is mine!

Afraid of Dying?

Certainly all of us were afraid to die, especially those who understand the essence of life. But there are people who won't afraid to die, those who perceived life as meaningless, those who don't see and feel the beauty and purpose of living.
But life on earth is very short; one, ten, thirty, fifty, seventy, ninety, or even more than hundred years, those years of existence here on earth are very short period. The long and short period of existence are the same, you live long with many problems and sorrows, and live short with little problems and sorrows. Most of us aspire to live happily and conveniently, but how many people live conveniently in having more wealth and money.
