I failed a lot of times, Have been ignored a lot of times, they disregard me a lot of times. But I don't stop looking for opportunities because I've failed, ignored, and disregarded. I always placed below average when I was elementary and high school, my teachers seldom call my name to answer their question. It took me five years to have the four year course, when I requested the registrar for transcript of record, they commit mistake in typing my major and specialization, I proceed to that error and take the examination for teachers and luckily passed the exam once. Before that I reviewed and take Civil Service Exam twice but also failed twice. I applied in the division office for teaching after I have passed the exam, have been qualified to teach in secondary school, when I begin to apply in schools presenting myself to the principals, two principals rejected me, one principal accepted me, but after one week of teaching, the principal noticed that she was excess of hired teachers, so she talked to me about the matter and promised that I will be the first to be called on next hiring, I gladly
accept my fate, went home and waited for next year of hiring. The next school year begin, near the house where we are staying is a neighbor who has a daughter who is a principal in nearby secondary school, he accompanied me to the house of his daughter one early morning, he introduced me to his daughter, and his daughter said that there is no vacancy so she will call me when there is. I waited for two months, then one morning of August, the principal who is the daughter of our neighbor called me to report because one of her teacher will be having her maternity leave, the principal said, you will serve as substitute for two months, then after that we will be processing your permanent status in this school. I was so happy that day though I am only substitute, it is an answered prayer. The next day my sister came and told me that the principal who had promised me a position in next school year of hiring is calling me to report for a permanent position, I said to my sister that if they will come back to look for me, you say that I am already hired. The principal who called me as a substitute gave me a permanent position after two months.
