I heard this story in a sermon, i got the thought but not the detail of the story. But anyway, I am relating this so that it will give inspiration to readers and to those who are willing to be under God's control.
It was happen in Germany, a German citizen is trying to help his Jewish friend who is hiding from the soldier who were after him looking and capturing Jews in town, the friend hide inside the house until the
German soldier came for search of Jewish men. The soldier ask the house owner if he had seen a Jew, the German owner was a Christian, he thought that it is not good to tell a lie but he can't take to sacrifice his friend inside hiding in his house. At that moment while the soldier is waiting for his answer, he post for a moment to pray asking God to help him give an appropriate answer. After a moment he answer the soldiers, it is not a Yes or No, but he says "search the house!" The soldier then say, "no it's okay," then they proceed and left him. At that moment God tells what to say and he did not commit mistake. If we trust and commit everything to the Lord, i am sure that he is always ready to help and rescue us.
